To encourage and promote the class, the 2008 Travellers' Series will comprise both Premier and Secondary events. Points will be scored separately for ICs, ACs and DCs. All Premier and Secondary Events will count for points towards the Travellers’ Series; there will be no discards.

The Premier Events will include nominated Open Meetings and the National Championships. 40 points will be awarded to the winner of each nominated Open Meeting, with two points deducted for each subsequent place. 70 points will be awarded to the winner of the National Championships, with three points deducted for each subsequent place. For the Secondary Events, 20 points will be awarded to the winner, with one point deducted for each subsequent place.
